MARK WARBURTON APPOINTED AS NEW MANAGER OF NOTTINGHAM FOREST
Nottingham
Forest have announced the signing of Mark Warburton as their new manager on a
two-and-a-half year deal.
He
will be joined at the club by David Weir who takes on the role of assistant
manager
Warbuton’s
first game in charge will be against Derby on Saturday, who also
announced the arrival of Gary Rowett earlier today.
Mark Warburton, who has
experience of managing in the Championship with Brentford and is Forest’s sixth
different manager in a little over four years, is believed to have been the
choice of Evangelos Marinakis, the notorious owner of Olympiakos who
reportedly has held secret talks with Al-Hasawi over a proposed takeover

Forest
has not had a permanent manager since January when Philippe Montanier was axed
– with Academy manager Gary Brazil in temporary charge since despite investment
by US investor John Jay Moores.
