ARSENAL READY TO SPEND AS SOON AS ARSENE WENGER SIGNS NEW CONTRACT

Arsenal are apparently ready to “splash the cash” as soon as Arsene Wenger says he is staying at the club.
Wenger’s future remains unclear, with his current deal set to expire in the summer.
But according to the Daily Mail, Schalke left-back Sead Kolasinac will be the first signing of a “major revamp”.
It is reported the Gunners are looking for a new centre-forward, a midfielder, a wide player and cover at right-back.
However, there is recognition that they will miss out on the A-list transfer targets.
The summer will see a major turnover of players. Wojciech Szczesny and Calum Chambers, on loan at Roma and Middlesbrough, are likely to leave along with Yaya Sanogo, Mathieu Debuchy and Joel Campbell, currently on loan at Sporting.
Carl Jenkinson and Kieran Gibbs are expected to leave, while the future of Jack Wilshere, who suffered an ankle yesterday in Bournemouth’s game against Tottenham, is unclear.
