LIVERPOOL HAVE NO PLANS TO SELL PHILIPPE COUTINHO TO BARCELONA

Liverpool have reportedly told Barcelona that they will not sell Philippe Coutinho.

However, the Liverpool Echo say Liverpool “will not countenance a move whatever the offer” and both the player and his representative see his future at Anfield.

Philippe Coutinho only signed a new five-year contract earlier this year and the player has consistently spoke about his desire to remain at Anfield.

And the Echo claim Coutinho and his representatives have no plans of leaving Liverpool anytime soon.

On the last international break, Neymar added fuel to the speculation by admitting that he wants Coutinho to join him at Barcelona.

“A Premier League player that I would like to have in Barcelona is Coutinho,” Neymar said.

“I believe Philippe Coutinho is a player that would totally fit in Barcelona.”
