BOKO HARM ATTACK UN OFFICIAL IN BAMA

Nigerian Army repels Boko Haram attack on United Nations (UN) officials in Bama however, four soldiers and a driver of one of the UN vehicle suffered injuries from the attack. The Nigerian Army confirms the attack on the UN delegation to Bama.

 Boko Haram insurgents have attacked a team of United Nations (UN) officials in an area close to Bama, under Konduga local government area of Borno state.

According to Daily Post, the attack occurred on Thursday, July 28 when the UN delegation and other donor agencies heading to an Internally Displaced Persons camp in Bama on an intervention mission were ambushed by Boko Haram insurgents.
